Catch up!

Just playing catch up with all the photos! We're busy here at the Carr home packing for MN. Listing any unwanted items on craigslist has been busy and fun! We're trying to downsize as much as possible as anticipate moving around a lot of the next 4 years.

Hannah - 1 Month Old

Steven and Hadassah

This was just too cute. Steven and Hadassah were playing,
then he decided to sit in her lap and then put his arm around her!
What's funny is that Hadassah is the girl Steve jokes Steven will marry some day!
(Note his sly smile!)

Steven & Colin

Colin was tired of reading Steven's Dr. Suess book,
so he decided to read to him from something more substantial.

Moving to MN

We've changed our plans (again). We'll be moving to MN August 11th. We would've liked to stay in MI longer, but moving now makes the most sense financially. Our cost of living in MN will be less and the job market is better. We also do look forward to living near family and our MN friends again.

We will miss all our friends here in GR - we hope to stay in touch! Thank you to everyone who's been such blessings in our lives this past 1 1/2 years - we've loved our time here!

Carr Update

On ECing ~
Hannah is doing great - I potty her just before eating (she eats every 2-3 hours during the day, about every 4 at night) and we've caught more than I can recall. She's often stayed dry in between feedings, as well. Although I have had a couple times now that I took a little too long getting her to the potty and she went on our bed!

I've decided to wait for a little bit on fully potty training Steven. Last weekend I came down with mastitis and Steven's been teething. Thankfully, the mastitis cleared up quickly and hopefully Steven's getting over cutting some new teeth (he now has 4 molars and his front 8 teeth - 4 on top and 4 on bottom).

On Sleeping ~
Hannah is getting a little more awake time now, staying awake sometimes 45 minutes after a feeding and then going back to sleep until it's time to eat again. She sleeps for 3-4 hour stretches in between feedings at night and goes 2-3 hours between feedings in the day.

Steven has had a couple rough nights with his teething, but last night he slept the night through again, so hopefully he's through teething (for now). He goes down well for his naps - he's like his mom - he likes sleep!
